BAC/EST Resource Center

The Arizona Genomics Institute BAC/EST Resource Center is focused on the high throughput movement and accurate archive of genomic resources for goal driven projects. The center provides affordable access to BAC and EST libraries, filters, macroarrays and clones. The BAC/EST Resource Center also serves a primary platform to launch a majority of our BAC library construction, physical mapping, genome and EST sequencing and positional cloning projects. The Center is equipped with state of the art robotics operating a Q-Pix high speed colony picker, 2- Genetix Q-bots (library replicating and rearrarying, filter gridding and colony picking) and 60 -80 freezers (clone archiving). All projects are handled with barcoded management. Orders may be placed through the Center website.
