AGI at FFA Chile Field Day

On November 5th, Rod, Dario, and Jayson represented AGI at the 10th annual Future Farmers of America, organized by Curry Farms.
Ed Curry and his team hosted a series of talks and tests for FFA teams from Arizona and New Mexico. The students learned about agronomy, soli science, plant breeding, and more, including the daily activities at Curry Farms. AGI introduced the students to the concepts of molecular biology research applied to agriculture and on how to characterize the genetic component of traits.
It is always a pleasure to be among farmers and students, telling them about our work and learning from their experiences.
