The quality of a genome assembly is enhanced when a transcriptome is available. AGI extracts total RNA from plants, algae, fungi, and other organisms in single 2 ml tubes and 96-well plates. The substrate is then sequenced with PacBio Iso-Seq or on short-read platforms as RNA-Seq.
